Bungonia's historical legacy includes St Michael's Catholic church, which was officially opened in 1847, making it one of the oldest standing Catholic churches in Australia. Other buildings of interest include the old parsonage, old Hotel Victoria, Christ Church and the old Police Station and school.

Kingsdale Wines

You are invited to try Kingsdale Wines at the limestone-clad cellar door where you can taste award-winning wines including Kingsdale's Shiraz Rosé and unoaked Chardonnay. Enjoy an espresso coffee on the verandah overlooking Lake Sooley.

Kingsdale produce premium cool climate wines from grapes grown on the property. The quality of their wine is enhanced by the vineyard soils which are derived from limestone and iron rich volcanics.

The vineyard is located on the Crookwell Road, only seven-minutes (7km) drive north of Goulburn.

The Cellar door is open for tasting and sales from 10am to 5pm on weekends or at other times by appointment. Coffee and light refreshments are also available.

Kingsdale Wines is part of the Merino Country food, wine & culture trail.
