The Goulburn Cup horse race was first run in 1885.
The Goulburn to Sydney Cycle Classic was established in 1902 (it is older
than the Tour de France) and has run more than 140 times.
Goulburn hosted Australia's first Motorcycle Touring Trophy run in 1914 as
well as Australia's first motor bike grand prix in 1924 and motor car grand
prix 1927.

A Devonshire Tea will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at
Riversdale Historic Home.
Open: 10am-3pm
Devonshire Tea: $5.50 one scone & tea or coffee &
$7.50 for two scones & tea or coffee.
Tour of home & grounds: adult $5, concession $3,
family $12
