Goulburn Skate Park
Skating elements: Goulburn Skate Park is over 1200 square metres of concrete and steel. There are quarter pipes, bowls, grid blocks, rails, steps and platforms. Built by Dorfus and the crew from Convic, it's the best skate park in the region. Skateboard.com gives it a 5 star rating and writes "heaps of nice transitioned sections including over vert nodule, fair few rails, ledges and banks."
Location and access: The Goulburn Skate Park is located in
Victoria Park, entry from Deccan Street. It is approximately 3 blocks from
the main street and accessed from the city centre by walking/cycle paths
through Victoria Park or by road.
Victoria Park also includes other recreation facilities: Goulburn Aquatic
Centre, children's playground, tennis courts, Sieffert Oval (cycle track
& cricket), Prell Oval (cricket) and rose gardens.
Safety: Goulburn Skate Park is for skateboards, rollerblades, rollerskates, scooters and bicycles.

Goulburn Mulwaree Council wishes to advise that skating is a high risk
sporting activity. Use of the facility is at your own
risk. Wear the gear! Riders must use equipment appropriate to
their ability. Safety equipment is to be worn at all
times. All riders of bicycles must wear a Standards Australia
approved helmet. All riders of skateboards, rollerblades and other wheeled
toys should wear a helmet and other protective equipment such as wrist
guards, elbow and knee pads.
Children must have parental supervision. Goulburn Skate Park does
not provide any supervision. A copy of the brochure detailing
aspects of the skate park is available from the Goulburn Visitor
Information Centre or the Civic Centre.
