Goulburn Heritage Bicycle Rides - Self-guided Tours
Two cycling tours of Goulburn were developed by the Goulburn and District Bicycle Users Group (GADBUG) for the interest and enjoyment of cyclists exploring our city.
Both begin and end at the Goulburn Visitor Information Centre. Depending on your fitness level, time available and whether you are riding with young children, you can leave the ride at any point and make your way back to the Visitor Information Centre, using the map. The City Ride is longer than The Lookout Ride, but does not have the challenge of Rocky Hill.
The Lookout Ride is approximately 12km long and is also graded easy to moderate, except for a 1.5km section graded as hard. This section can be avoided if you choose. Allow about 2.5 hours for this ride plus whatever time you spend at the Old Goulburn Brewery.
The City Ride is approximately 25km in length and also graded easy to moderate. As a guide, allow about 4 hours for this ride.
We hope you enjoy the rides, the wonderful history and the views of our city.
