The first tobacco crops in Australia were grown in Goulburn by William
Bradley and William Shelly.
Goulburn grazier Dick Prell pioneered the use of super phosphate for
pasture improvement.
I loved Goulburn, a beautifully laid out city of fine, old buildings and
parks... As a matter of fact everyone in Goulburn went out of their way to
be kind and welcoming... I can't think of a better place to stay. Even
found shops with bargains to take home as reminders of a great time.
