Wollondale Farm Stay
Experience staying on a 1200 acre property just two hours drive from Sydney and 20 minutes from Australia's first inland city, Goulburn in the Southern Tablelands.
Wollondale is a member of the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia whose principal purpose is to protect and encourage the conservation and breeding of endangered domestic farm livestock in Australia. Wollondale has a commercial Poll Hereford cattle herd as well as being home to rare breeds of sheep, pigs, cattle and poultry. You will also find geese, ducks, alpacas and aviary birds.
Bush walks, tennis, canoeing, swimming in the river and horse riding (by appointment) are just some of the activities in addition to general farm activities. See kangaroos, wombats, birdlife and even sometimes platypus, or just relax in front of the fire.
The farm has two self-contained Farm Stay cottages.
The one bedroom 'Gouldian' cottage has a double bed with ensuite bathroom, linen and towels provided, TV/DVD/sound system, gas heating, modern kitchen with everything you need, microwave, laundry facilities, BBQ and outdoor eating area.
The four bedroom 'Magpie' cottage sleeps up to eight people (1 QB, 1 DB, 2 twin rooms), linen and towels provided, bathroom with separate lavatory, large living/dining room with wood burning fire, modern kitchen with microwave and everything you need, TV/DVD/sound system, laundry facilties, BBQ and outdoor eating area.
High chair and portacot avaialble on request.
Wollondale is also close to Tarlo and Morton National Parks and 40 minutes from historic Berrima.
