Garroorigang Historic Home B&B
Built in 1857, and located less than 2km from the historic CBD of Australia's first inland city, Garroorigang is an important part of Goulburn's early heritage.
Home of the Hume family, collateral descendants of explorer Hamilton Hume, Garroorigang has a fascinating history first as an inn on the road to the goldfields, then as a small private school for the sons of gentlemen and now as a rare surviving example of living in the Victorian period.
Garroorigang Historic Home offers bed and breakfast accommodation (maximum 2 adults) with private bathroom, king size bed, open fire. Package includes afternoon tea on arrival and a personally guided tour of the homestead and gardens by members of the Hume family.
Bookings for accommodation of required a minimum of two days prior to stay.
Garroorigang is part of the Merino Country food, wine & culture trail.
See MAP for location.
